The Great Lawn surrounds the front and side of the Main House, connecting garden, grounds, and indoor spaces.

Connected to the Great Lawn, the Excedra is a series of three curved benches, at the end of the grassy lawn, just outside the Tyson Meeting Room Patio. The benches invite quiet reflection and conversation as guests sit on the edge of the woods and enjoy the historic beauty of this grand estate.
