December 3, 2024
Dear Friends of Rolling Ridge,
This Giving Tuesday, we invite you to help transform lives through the power of retreat and renewal. The world needs what Rolling Ridge has to offer.
Each Tuesday this December, we’re sharing stories from our program leaders about what they do, and testimonials from donors about why they give. Linda Littlefield Grenfeld writes:
“[I give because] Rolling Ridge has nurtured and challenged and supported people for decades, and is becoming a premier place for retreat and renewal… Rolling Ridge balances lovely groomed grounds with native and natural spaces, and programs, events and opportunities abound. The world needs more places like Rolling Ridge.”
As Linda says, Rolling Ridge has been nurturing people for decades — with generations of children and youth attending camp at the Ridge since 1948! That legacy of ministry with young people continues today.
This past year, we launched “God in Nature,” run by retreat leader Kay Milligan. These outdoor nature classes helped children learn through play, developing a love for nature and building critical skills along the way. Kay told us:
“The grounds at Rolling Ridge are so peaceful and serene, it is an idyllic location to hold classes. Parents and children feel so connected to nature here. They experience Christ’s love in clear and tangible ways! Parents frequently comment on how lovely the property is, and one mom recently called it her ‘happy place."
Your generosity this Giving Tuesday allows us to offer new programs like “God in Nature,” and to extend the beauty and blessings of Rolling Ridge to new generations of learners who will discover us as their “happy place.”
This Giving Tuesday, we invite you to give. Every donation helps us:
For over 75 years, Rolling Ridge has been transforming lives. Please join us in making a gift to the Ridge today, and consider making a monthly donation to Rolling Ridge. These regular gifts are especially helpful, providing stable support that allows us to continue our work year-round.
Together, we can connect all people with God and the beauty of the natural world, and offer to the world a place of peace, hospitality, and spiritual transformation.
With gratitude,
Your friends at Rolling Ridge
P.S. If you made a donation today, we’d love to hear from you! Reply to this email and tell us why you support Rolling Ridge, or what you love most about this place.
