The weather could not have been more perfect as Rolling Ridge hosted Art @ the Ridge on Sunday, September 29, 2019. In partnership with the Andovers Artist Guild, Art @ the Ridge was a celebration of the centennial ground-breaking of the house that Ethan Allen built in 1919.
With 25 artist booths, 2 community non-profits, and Rolling Ridge food and hospitality, over 300 people enjoyed the grounds, the art, and the beauty of the day, with tours of the house and a local musician.
As a Trails and Sails event, many guests had never been to the Ridge before. Numerous people shared how they have driven by the Rolling Ridge entrance for years and never knew what was at the end of the drive.
One couple even thought that "Rolling Ridge" was the director's parsonage which can be seen just off Great Pond Road! With hard work by the staff and support from the Rolling Ridge board, Art @ the Ridge was a wonderful way to share this "hidden gem" with the community.
Make plans to join us next year on Sunday, September 27, 2020 as Rolling Ridge hosts Art @ the Ridge to celebrate 50 years of the Andovers ArtistsGuild!
