FROM JUDGMENT TO COMPASSION: Putting the Israel Hamas war in context

"Voices and Stories" is a Rolling Ridge series that uses historical education and contemplative listening to open hearts and minds to the events that have shape society today. Our next event focuses on the Israel-Hamas War.

Opening our hearts to the pain felt by both Israelis and Palestinians requires us to appreciate and understand the complex history of the modern-day Middle East. Join us for on Wednesday, January 24th as Rabbi Howard Mandell shares the relevant history underlying the ongoing and current conflict with Israel, Gaza, and Hamas, and offers the subtle but important distinctions between anti-Semitism, anti-Zionism, and anti-Israel.

This event from 6:30-8:30 pm eastern is HYBRID with both online and in-person options and will include a time for questions and-answers. (This event is similar to the one hosted by West Parish in Andover.)
