This spring, Rolling Ridge invites you to take a trip with us. Along with the Way of the Heart and the Lent Prayer Journey, we invite you to consider a pilgrimage with former Rolling Ridge Director, Larry Peacock.
From May 20-31, Larry Peacock will be leading a pilgrimage along St. Cuthbert’s Way in Scotland. Covering 62 miles, this journey in Celtic Christianity will take you from Melrose, where St. Cuthbert began his religious life, to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, where he died and was originally buried. A medieval saint, St. Cuthbert is regarded as the patron saint of Northumberland. Along the trail of one of Scotland’s Great Trails, you will discover spectacular views, quaint towns, and diverse landscapes. A local guide will walk with us and share about the path, the area, and the history with Larry leading daily times of reflection and sharing. Progressive Pilgrimage is sponsoring this event and is offering a $100 Rolling Ridge discount. See our website for more information and for the link to register.
If a pilgrimage in Scotland is more than you can commit, our online "pilgrimage" through the Way of the Heart begins on Thursday, February 1st at 6:30 pm. Register now if you are interested in this 8 week adventure in living life centered, and awake to Life's fullness. You will gain practical skills for living into wholeness, expand your spiritual practices, and discern what leads you toward Love.
Our Lenten Prayer Journey as a "pilgrimage" to Easter begins on Sunday, February 19th at 6:00 pm and continues online for 7 weeks. With Heidi Haverkamp's book, Holy Solitude as our guide we will walk with saints, hermits, prophets, and rebels through contemplative reflection and prayer during the vesper hour. Each week, you will discover a place of silent rest with Taize music framing our times together.
Our Lenten retreat series invites you to make a pilgrimage to North Andover, MA for a day retreat as we consider embodied spiritual practices. Beginning with our Taize Quiet Day with Companioned Retreat overnight options, we invite you to consider the blessings of art, yoga, and tai chi in our spiritual journey.
Whether your pilgrimage takes you to Scotland or to North Andover, to the Heart or to Easter, may you find community and companions through Rolling Ridge. We are with you on the journey.
