From our table to yours, Happy Thanksgiving!

As we reflect on the abundance all around us, we're reminded of the warmth, connection, and physical and spiritual nourishment that defines our Rolling Ridge family. We hope this holiday fills your home with the same spirit of divine love, shared meals, and heartfelt gratitude!

Perhaps today you'll take some time to share what you're especially thankful for. Over the past month, we've been sharing a #ThankfulThursday series on social media, highlighting the incredible people who make Rolling Ridge a vibrant community. As we continue to count our blessings, we thought we could share them with you. You can read more below!

Warmest wishes, and happy Thanksgiving,
Your friends at Rolling Ridge

We're thankful for...

Rolling Ridge Volunteers

Our wonderful volunteers make Rolling Ridge an inviting and hospitable space for all who visit. We're especially grateful for our most regular volunteers, including Juliet Parry and Suzanne Mosher as hosts, Carol Zoubek and Jim Cyr as composters (pictured above), along with UMCOR (also pictured above) and the inspiring youth groups from New England UMC!  We are thankful also for our Board of Directors (see below) and the volunteers who serve on our Board subcommittees, including Jim Mentzer, Rick Mosher, and Randy Van Devneter on our Finance Committee.

Our Board of Directors

We're celebrating our dedicated Board of Directors who bring their passion, expertise, and leadership to Rolling Ridge. These remarkable individuals champion our mission through strategic vision, financial stewardship, policy development, and community outreach. We're deeply grateful for the wisdom and dedication of our entire board, and especially Rev. Rich Cullen as our chair, Rev. Genna Hosterman as vice-chair, Rev. Rachel Fisher as secretary, and Mary Tremblay as treasurer.

Maintenance and Facilities Team

The fantastic facilities team at Rolling Ridge keeps our house and grounds functional and beautiful. This past year, they’ve upgraded our pipes and plumbing, added heating, improved the roof, and tackle massive tasks like clearing 10 acres of leaves each fall. We especially recognize our year-round staff: Greg Clarke, Eric O'Brien, and Mark Clarke.  Pictured above are new hot water tanks in the basement to improve guest experience, and a remodeled room 3 (tentatively named the Richard Rohr Reading Room) which will be used for spiritual direction, small groups, wellness, prayer – a multipurpose list of uses.

Kitchen and Hospitality Staff

Just in time for Thanksgiving, we want to express gratitude to our amazing kitchen and hospitality team. They handcraft every meal from scratch using farm-to-table and fresh ingredients. Our guests consistently tell us that the food is one of their favorite parts of their Rolling Ridge experience — thanks to these fine folks above (left to right): Lee O’Brien, Karen Dowgiert, Marin Clarke, Tom Paolillo, Peter Park, Maria Smith, and Amory Jewett.

During this season of thanks, our hearts are especially full of gratitude for YOU, our friends and donors, who continue to support our ever expanding and growing ministry. We could not do this without you!  Thank you.

Warmest wishes, and Happy Thanksgiving!
Your friends at Rolling Ridge
