I'm Looking for a Spiritual Directorwith Rolling Ridge staff
Across many spiritual traditions, the human body is seen as the nexus for connecting to the Divine. But it is also the place where we store our hurts and traumas, which can diminish our ability to feel at home in our physical form, cutting us off from feeling the presence and guidance from the Divine.
Learning to come back into our physiology provides a pathway to better understand what our bodies need. As self-care, being body-aware also helps us to regulate our emotions and thoughts, especially those that keep us distressed and distracted.
Join us for this trauma-informed Day Apart as we explore not only the ways we disconnect from our bodies but how we can build back our relationship to our own embodiment that starts with the present moment.
You will come to understand the ways and whys of our protective mechanisms that cause us all to disconnect from our bodies. You will learn how the body can be a receivership to Spirit as you experience ways to shift out of your head and into the wisdom of your body. With Deb LeClair's gentle facilitation, you will access grounding practices to embody the vessel of our physicality to connect with the Divine. You will leave with your body as your ally providing healing and connection to God, your Higher Power, the Divine.
Registration costs: $87 for the program on the beautiful grounds of Rolling Ridge (9:30-3:00), pastries and lunch.
